A minor of one month entered Sótero del Río Hospital with a skull fracture, derived from Padre Hurtado Hospital. The carabinieri arrested the baby's father after the medical staff announced that the injuries were attributable to others.

Uniformed police arrested the man at his home in La Pintana. The subject excludes his participation and declares that the baby has fallen out of bed during the change of diaper.

"In the moments when this happens, according to the version of the two parents of the infant, the father I would find the youngest in the couple's room and the woman, the mother of the baby, would be in the garden before taking care of his other son, aged six, "said Captain Juan Cáceres.

"We have the version of this father who says that it would have been an accident and we also have the version for the medical staff, that the infant carries a violent blow to the skull and, in addition, has two minor injuries on other parts of his body, "he added.

The case is reviewed by the IDP Homicide Squad.
