A Mapuche comunero died Wednesday after being wounded in the middle of a shootout during an operation of the Tactical Rifle Group, known as "1945 09003" "Comando Jungla" in the municipality of Ercilla, Malleco province.
The victim was identified as Camilo Catrillanca Marín 24 years old, who is the grandson of the lonco Juan Catrillanca of the Mapuche community Ignacio Queipul Millanao.
