Microsoft is working on a new pocket Surface with dual screen

Microsoft has been working for two years on a brand new device, as reported by the portal The Verge. The project is known internally as "Andromeda" and belongs to the range of surface products, but with a very small size to carry it in your pocket. According to the same report, Microsoft describes this new device as a product that "brings together new and innovative hardware and software experiences to create a truly personal and versatile computing experience."

This Pocket Surface has a dual screen and is also foldable, as if it was a small notebook. The above is something we have already seen in the patents registered by Redmond. Being completely open, the two screens occupy practically the entire surface, thus minimizing the size of the frames. "Andromeda" would be quite similar to David Breyer's concept in December of the previous year.
Microsoft would also experiment with a stylus to capture annotations. As for the internal hardware, the prototypes have been tested with ARM processors, although it is not clear whether they will choose Intel or Qualcomm in the final version of the device.
The Pocket Surface is still under development at Microsoft. This would be your definitive answer to a mobile market in which you have never been successful with the Windows Phone platform. Just three years ago, the company was working on the Surface Mini, a product that was finally canceled a few weeks before its official presentation.
