The NASA has come up with a series of unofficial which he has named with names that all lovers of pop culture will immediately recognize.

the constellations "Albert Einstein", the "Little Prince", "Godzilla", the ship of "Star Trek", "Enterprise" and even "Hulk", among others. All were born as a celebration that the space agency celebrates on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the telescope "Fermi".

This telescope is in orbit and has been scanning the universe every day since 2008. Its goal is to measure the gamma ray sources, the highest light energy of the universe. In seven years, he has already mapped about 3,000 different sources of these rays, a rather impressive figure compared to the 300 identified before the start of his work.

The celebration of his ten years of work is accompanied by an interactive map developed by the scientist Elisabeth Ferrara, the astrophysicist Daniel Kocevski and the illustrator Aurore Simonnet.

This shows the whole sky through the gamma rays captured by the Fermi telescope, but with the picturesque constellations that can be accessed in one click.
