Jorge Valero, Venezuelan Ambbadador to the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, extended an invitation by Nicolás Maduro to Michelle Bachelet, High Commissioner for Human Rights, to the invitation of Nicolás Maduro the country.
"This will directly inform the vast and historic efforts to guarantee and promote the human rights of Venezuelans," said the Foreign Ministry.
Bachelet accepted the invitation and indicated that his office would coordinate with the Venezuelan government the definition of the most appropriate date to carry out the visit next year.
In addition, Valero reiterated his congratulations to the High Commissioner of the Nation for Human Rights for his appointment.
