An attempt that risks little and much at the same time.
Last year I was absolutely in love with the Nokia 6. First, it was the return of a brand that yearned for craziness, and then it came up in a family body and with pure Android, all at a great price.
HMD Global now presents its new equipment, the Nokia 6.1 2018, which has the following technical specifications:
- 5.5-inch 1080p display
- ] Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor
- 3 GB RAM [19659005] 32GB of storage
- 16 megapixel camera AF / 2.0 with Carl Zeiss optics
- 8 megapixel AF / 2.0 front camera
- 3000 mAh battery
Only small details
The Nokia 6.1 is very similar to its predecessor in terms of design, with the same sharp edges and square design that does not seem to be "fashionable" in a world of rounded terminals.
It seems like it's a "punk" attitude to stay out of fashion in industrial design and to know that there is a niche of fans that aspire to this design a-la-Lumia, but metal.
to repeat it for many years and end up as Sony Xperia with Omnibalance, where people were bored.
Now, to give it a little more style, all the edges, on the sides and on the fingerprint sensor (which is now behind), with the buttons have a coppery accent, which under certain lights looks orange gold, really cute.
All without too much emphasis or attracting attention to the extreme. Nokia maintains its leadership spirit, at least in this line.
Design in general is very cautious and being a continuation, it does not take much risk, in theory. Even the screen is not lengthened as it is now, they just stay firm with what they know about their people. Who would say that we could be so cautious and risky at the time
Fixing only what was asked of them
Regarding performance, Nokia does not want to dare, at least in this line, to put in Great changes and that is why they changed the main criticism of last year, not much more.
The first model of this terminal had a Snapdragon 430 processor, which despite being very efficient in the consumption of energy, was sometimes below the most important tasks.
Selfies? They look good, nothing good, they work just right and in the right light, sometimes they surprise. This is not particularly consistent in this aspect, but one for the other casual self – portrait is fine.
Is it worth it?
It depends on what you are looking for, yes, in my particular case, I am very much interested in the updates and do not have to deal with strange applications that are preinstalled, in this case Android One is the best without paying a lot.
If above we add a nice aesthetic design, a feeling of expensive equipment, a good camera compliment The Nokia 6.1 2018 is offered in Chile at a price of US $ 199,990 in prepayment, while at the same time Mexico is 7.099 MXN and in Colombia it is still available. It does not make its official arrival, though it should be close to $ 1,000,000 CAN
