Health worker groups indicate that Erick Jiménez's resignation would be linked to a report from the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic in which they realized they had not complied with the required medical hours to perform their function. However, from the government, they denied this version.

Biobío's health sergeant, Erick Jiménez, resigned Monday after 8 months, a fact that has conflicting versions between the executive and the guilds.

Groups of health workers claim that Jiménez's resignation would be linked to a report by the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic in which they realized they had not complied with the medical hours required to practice their function.

"This does not surprise us because in fact, it has been a while since the government has no people ready to govern, which means that knowing the criteria that the authorities must possess, they do not respect them and do not put people who do not match, "said Fenats Regional President Evelyn Betancourt.

Betancourt acknowledged that "we are worried because he was facing problems such as medical licenses and other problems in the area".

However, they denied the government workers' version and badured that they had not received any reports from the Comptroller's Office.

"To date, there has been absolutely no report from Controller indicating what is mentioned, so the version is that Erick Jimenez, for personal reasons, decided to withdraw," said the Serbian government, Francesca Parodi.
