The Grand Final of the 2018 Overwatch World Cup was held at the 2018 BlizzCon. In case you do not know it, it is a competition in which the best players of Overwatch are struggling to put the name of your country on top. To the surprise of a few, South Korea won the tournament.
South Korea reached the Grand Final of the Overwatch World Cup after facing intense duels against Australia (3-0) and the United Kingdom. (2-0) in phase of direct elimination. In the last game, they saw the faces against China, a country that, for its glory, was to defeat important nations like Finland (3-0) and Canada (3-0).
Although the Chinese team arrived with desire to break with the hegemony of South Korea, the reality is that their enthusiasm was insufficient. As they struggled to the end, the power of the Koreans and the good pace with which they had started the series were enough for the score to end at 4-0.
South Korea won the title of World Cup champion Overwatch. 2018 and adds his third world title. We will see if, for the next year 's edition, some teams manage to break their positive series and so we have a new king.
