An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 Richter was recorded Monday at dawn in the sea south of the city of Puerto Williams, in the Magallanes region.
The telluric movement occurred at 03:54 and its epicenter was located at 370 km from the coast, 18 km deep according to the National Center of Seismology (CSN) of the 39; University. of Chile
The Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Navy (SHOA) excludes the tsunami hazard for the Chilean coasts.
