The army dissociates a total of 23 members for cases of sexual assault and abuse in the Calama Regiment – National

The Chilean Army reported the loss of new members of the institution following cases of aggression and badual abuse recorded June 6 and 7 in the Motorized Brigade 1 of Calama decision taken Thursday.

The first case It was announced later that on June 7, an 18-year-old conscript was physically and badually badaulted by his comrades. As a result, in the case eight soldiers were dismissed for their participation in the events.

Two of them were minors, so they went to ordinary courts, while the other six were detained by the military prosecutor . Four of them are detained for badault and two for badault and badual offense.

In a second case, five soldiers were released for the fact recorded on June 6 in the same post and which affected another conscript who was also attacked in a fact which was recorded in a video.
