The frontal system this weekend will be weaker than expected

The frontal system that will arrive this weekend in the regions of Coquimbo and Atacama, between Sunday 1st and Tuesday 3rd July, will be lower than previously estimated.

This according to the latest weather alert issued by the CEAZA team that constantly monitors the conditions.

"On Sunday, July 1, moderate winds are forecast between the south of the city of Huasco and Punta de Choros, as well as in the valleys south of Vallenar and north of La Higuera, which could lead to in dust storms, "the report said.

Meanwhile, for the province of Choapa, showers are expected in the afternoon and evening of Sunday, July 1, which would be concentrated mainly towards the coast. On Tuesday, July 3, moderate winds would be recorded in this province.

In the Cordillera zone of the two regions, we expect strong winds from Saturday, June 30th.
