The photo of Bill McElligott, a 69-year-old Canadian truck driver, may have become the most convincing argument for using sunscreen more frequently. The image was published by the New England Journal of Medicine in 2012, but has become effective in recent weeks, reports Gizmodo.
McElligott's face has a marked difference between the right and left sides. The latter is significantly older, with wrinkles and spots. The pronounced difference and the fact that half of his face looks 20 years older than the other surprised even the experts.

According to the medical journal, this is a condition known as unilateral dermatosis, which in this particular case was the product of the almost 28 years that the badagenarian was working as a truck driver, and in which the left side of the face – the side of the window – was regularly exposed to the ultraviolet lightning of the sun. The truck driver profession has been badociated with a high risk of skin cancer due to prolonged exposure to the sun and the lack of protection offered by the vehicle goggles.
