The Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications (MTT), through the Directory of Metropolitan Public Transport (DTPM), announced further changes to the general grid of Transantiago bus lines, in order to have more connectivity with the Metro System
The changes made – which will benefit more than 45,000 users and will begin to operate from July 7 – continue to enhance the integration of modes, especially to increase connections between the buses and the metro.
The changes will favor 27 municipalities of Greater Santiago: Cerrillos, Ñuñoa, Macul, Florida, Puente Alto, Peñalolén, Santiago, San Miguel, San Ramón, La Pintana, St. Bernard, San Joaquin, La Granja, Pedro Aguirre Cerda, Lo Espejo, La Cisterna, Providencia, Quilicura, Conchali, Recoleta, Pudahuel, Quinta Normal, Cerro Navia, Prado Lo, Maipú, Central Station and Vitacura, one of the services that will strengthen the integration between the two is the I25, which will provide a direct link to the inhabitants of Cerrillos with metro line 6, especially for users of Villa Cardenal Silva Henríquez and the population of Los Presidentes.
