This Saturday, a vehicle with seven people inside, fell to the Caliboro River located on route Q-110 which joins Los Angeles with Saltos del Laja
For reasons under investigation, the vehicle lost control and fell into the river causing the death of one 73-year-old man, identified as Alamiro del Tránsito Hidalgo Garcés whose body and was transferred to the legal medical service.
The personnel of the detention of the Carabineros went to the place and next to the firemen and people who were in the area, managed to save the occupants of the vehicle, which resulted in minor injuries and was transferred to Los Angeles Base Hospital
Three minors, aged 1, 6 and 12 years old were traveling inside the car.
Currently, Carabineros investigates on causes of the accident as well as how to remove the vehicle from the area.
