Some people use their Wii consoles to stream Netflix or Hulu on their TVs. But from January, they will not be able to do it anymore.

Nintendo put another nail to the coffin of the Wii console by removing the continuous playback function at the end of January, according to Netflix.
The Netflix website mentions the date of January 30th. like the day, it will no longer be compatible with the Wii. The announcement of Netflix reads as follows:
"Unfortunately, Nintendo will suspend all video services in streaming on the Wii – including the Netflix channel – as of January 30, 2019 ".
This gives us the impression that the Nintendo Wii will also stop being compatible with services such as Hulu and Amazon Video.
The Wii was a big hit in its time, selling more than 100 million units. Even though he was 12, he was still in the news because, in many homes, he was used to make the streaming of Netflix and Hulu. But with this function disabled, the days of the console are numbered.
Nintendo still allows you to stream of the video at of the Wii U 3DS ] or console switch . Netflix is not yet available on the switch, but the console is compatible with streaming YouTube and Hulu.
