(CCM) – The specialized channel of YouTube NintendoHOME affirmed that the video platform would soon appear as a native application in the videoconsola Nintendo Switch .
Unlike Xbox or PlayStation, The Switch has virtually no native applications, but several users apparently found the YouTube logo in the recommended section on the Nintendo website which would also announce an imminent release date: November 8th.
At the moment, YouTube is only accessible from 3DS and WiiU consoles, but Google and Nintendo were already working on a collaboration to bring the video platform to Switch for months. Although the Japanese manufacturer has not officially confirmed this information, all indications are that it has taken the plunge to meet the historical demand of users. It remains to be seen when another long-awaited and commented event will occur: the inclusion of Netflix in the video game console.
