The vase was purchased by an anonymous buyer in a store located in Hertfordshire, England, which then listed it unpretentious on eBay, the Daily Mail reported. The description of the vase's catalog indicates that it is pear-shaped and is flanked by a pair of ruyi handles up to the bent neck. The 8-inch high vase also has an inscription that says "Weijing weiyi", which means "to be precise, to be undivided".
There is also an inscription on it, with an imperial poem and two red iron seals that say "Qianlong chen han" or "Qianlong emperor's own mark," the courier added.
Yexue Li, head of the Asian arts department at Sworders, told Fox News that the inscription made the vase "special".

A spokesman for the Sworders added that the 300-year-old vase had been valued at £ 50,000 to £ 80,000 ($ 60,000 to $ 97,000). The auction is scheduled for November 8.
Emperor Qianlong was the sixth emperor of the Qing Dynasty, having ruled from 1736 to 1796, according to the auction house. He finally left the throne, abdicating him to his son, Emperor Jiaqing. He died at the age of 87 in 1799.
