NEW YORK (AP) – Chris Rock said on Sunday he was diagnosed with COVID-19 and sent a message to anyone still on the fence: ‘Get vaccinated. ”

The 56-year-old comedian wrote on Twitter: “Hey guys, i just found out i have COVID, trust me you don’t want that. To get vaccinated.”

Oscar-winning actor Jeff Bridges has had a tough year.  In October 2020, he announced that he had been diagnosed with lymphoma and would start treatment soon. Rock has already said he was vaccinated. Appearing on “The Tonight Show” in May, he called himself “Two-shots Rock” before specifying that he received the Johnson & Johnson one shot shot.

“You know, I skipped the line. I did not care. I used my celebrity, Jimmy, ”he told host Jimmy Fallon. “I was like, ‘Step back, Betty White. Stand aside, old folks. … I did “Pootie Tang”. Leave me in the front line. ‘”
