Christina Anstead takes a page from Maya Angelou on how she navigates life in 2021.

The “Flip or Flop” star, who filed for divorce from her second husband Ant Anstead in November after less than two years of marriage, revealed a new ink to fans via Instagram on Tuesday that featured the famous words of the famous poet “I am still rising.”

“Just like the moons and the suns, With the certainty of the tides, Like the hopes soaring high, I will always rise. I rise again.” tattoo, written in script in the middle of his back.

The mother of three also paid tribute to the late Angelou, who died in May 2014, for the remarks made by the civil rights activist and women.

In November, Anstead opened up about her difficult year in a social media post.

“2020 is definitely not at all what I imagined – not even close – but I also think there are so many lessons to all this madness,” the HGTV personality wrote. “Spiritual healing has been my passion for years, so I can’t wait to dive deep. Despite a lot of bullshit, there were some truly magical moments.”

In the post, Anstead claimed that she strives to find herself better and ensure her happiness as she continues to co-parent her one-year-old son, Hudson, whom she shares with Ant, while continuing to co-parenting her daughter Taylor, 10, and son Brayden, 5, whom she shares with her former husband Tarek El Moussa.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday’s post, Anstead fans took to the comments section to share their support for the “Christina on the Coast” star.

“I’ve only watched a few seasons of Flip or Flop, but for some reason I’m so drawn to you and your IG,” one fan wrote. “You are very, very inspiring. I’m sorry you hate so much lately but still shine my girl.”
