LOCK HAVEN – Starting this Monday, September 13 at 8 a.m., all Clinton County government buildings will require all guests, regardless of their immunization status, to wear a mask inside buildings.
This policy change is the result of increasing cases in the county, low vaccination rates across the county and the threat of COVID-19 variants, the commissioners said.
In addition to the required masking for all guests, the county will also continue to require unvaccinated employees to wear a mask when moving around buildings or meeting the public. The updated policy will also restore social distancing for all public meetings and the ability to virtually attend to those who don’t feel comfortable attending in person, they said.
The announcement was made by Commissioners Miles Kessinger, Jeff Snyder and Angela Harding.
