A coastal flood advisory remains in effect today in Charleston and Colleton counties.
The National Weather Service published the advisory until 2 p.m. on October 10.
High tide will occur around 11:45 a.m. at Charleston Harbor, with possible saltwater flooding one to two hours before and after the event, the weather service said.
The tide at Charleston Harbor is expected to reach about 7.5 feet, the point at which moderate flooding begins. Up to 1 foot above ground level flooding is expected along shorelines and tidal streams.
The tide can make some roads impassable, the weather service said, as well as minor flooding on some properties.
Motorists should allow extra travel time. The weather service warned drivers not to bypass barricades or cross water of unknown depth.

High tide is expected to reach 7.3 feet around 1 p.m. on October 11.
The weather service said coastal flooding is expected during high tide cycles until early in the week. The greatest potential for flooding is during high tides in the early afternoon.
