Regarded as one of the promises of the independent scene in Colombia, the group Telebit combines electronic bases with Andean rhythms. His texts are intended to reflect on the current society, inviting them to allow indifference and to act in certain situations.
The group arrives at Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo with his concert & # 39; The first time, the ritual of the mountain " in which they will present new versions of their songs with guest musicians and in a novel format. Only concert Friday, July 27, 8:00 pm With almost 7 years of work, Telebit has more than 350 concerts in more than 40 cities in Spain and the United States. The three albums released in 2012, 2015 and 2017, allowed them to explore rhythms very close to their folk and popular roots and, finally, to synthesize them in avant-garde tunes. Currently, the band is working on three new singles that will be part of their fourth studio album to be released in 2019.

What are the themes that affect their themes? Why?
We write about what happens to us, it will always be the first source of inspiration. In addition to the context in which we live, we are not unaware of what is happening around us.
They shared the stage with major international groups and participated in major festivals both inside and outside the country. for your growth?
Being able to participate in great concerts and festivals will always be an excellent exhibition tool for independent groups and for us it's the ticket of entry to open new territories . Being able to access these platforms has helped us not only to make ourselves known, but also to become more and more professional, because we have learned a lot by seeing how groups that have many more years of experience are working with us.
Has it been its evolution over these seven years?
The evolution of the group has been in all respects, both on a personal level, because we are very different people than when we started the project. We grew a lot each in his career. At the professional level, we have more concerts, more fans, more albums and more songs, so we are more and more clear about where we want to go and how we want to go.
What does "First time, the ritual of the mountain"?
The Mountain Ritual is a show that closes the scene of & # 39; Blind Hearts, our third album, and it will be our first time playing with a format with so many musicians on stage. With this concert, we want to renew ourselves to start a new cycle and start again with the whiteboard to build what will be our next production.
What will the audience find in this new and unique show?
You will find new versions of songs from our three albums, ten musicians on stage, songs that we have played very little and that you will probably be able to listen to only during this concert
What plans do you have? you? for the future?
We are composing and producing new songs, without the pressure of time, but without ceasing to create. We are very ambitious with the new music we want to release and when the time comes, it will begin to emerge
