Emirates airline launches a new route to Dubai from South America

The Emirates airline launched flights on Friday between Santiago de Chile and Dubai with a stopover in São Paulo, a trip that will be carried out five times a week and that represents the landing of the company in Brazil.

Vice President of Business Operations Hubert Frach, of Emirates, said at a press conference that the Chilean capital became the 161st destination of the company's global network.

"Chile has long been a destination to which our guests have wanted to travel because of its natural beauty and historical richness, and we hope to bring more tourism to the country," said Frach, who was accompanied by Stéphane Taysse, commercial director of Nueva Pudahel, the consortium that manages the Santiago airport; Mónica Zalaquett, Chilean Undersecretary of Tourism

The new Emirates Road, said Frach, will allow Chilean travelers to reach Dubai, where more than 160 destinations are serviced in Asia, the Middle East , in Africa and in Europe.
