Exports from Colombia in May 2018 – Sectors – Economy

Nearly 80% of Colombia's sales growth abroad is attributable to oil and coal, which means that the mining sector continues to be the country's foreign trade engine.

On the other hand, in the first five months of 2018, the change was positive (4.4%). On the industry side, export growth in May was 9.1%, rising from $ 691.6 million in the same month of 2017 to $ 754.6 million today. The most significant external sales were road vehicles (83.3%).
