According to doctors, the eggs of the parasite migrated from the baby's stomach to his brain.

In India, parents of an 8-year-old girl were terrified to learn that the child, who was suffering from severe headaches and seizures for six months, had 100 tapeworm eggs in his brain.

According to India Today, when they scanned his brain, hospital doctors discovered 100 cysts that were actually parasite eggs and had migrated from his stomach. The existence of these cysts has caused inflammation in his brain, as well as breathing and walking problems. The minor was hospitalized and almost unconscious, say the specialists.

Dr. Praveen Gupta pointed out that "this infection is caused by food accidentally infested with tapeworms." When eggs reach the brain through the nervous system, they cause neurocysticercosis. It is characterized by severe headaches, epileptic seizures and confusion. Praveen Gupta added that this disease is caused by the consumption of poorly washed fruits and vegetables, as well as undercooked meat infected with swine tapeworm

Fortunately, the treatment helped the girl and was able to return to school.
