The TV market in Colombia increases by 19% in the first half of 2018 compared to the previous year

Every four years the world's largest market for football, the television market is experiencing significant growth. This year was not the exception. Between January and June 2018, units sold in Colombia recorded a 19% increase over the same period last year.

The manufacturer LG Electronics has grown significantly above the market average. Its TV sales in the country during the first half of 2018 have increased by 79% over the same period of 2017. In terms of units, the figure is 70%.

According to LG estimates, this year will sell 2.5 million units of OLED panels worldwide, compared with 1.6 million registered in 2017.

The South Korean manufacturer is the pioneer of OLED display technology and will pave the way in luxury TVs with its latest version of the LG SIGNATURE TV W8 model, as thin as three credit cards hanging on the wall with a sophisticated system of magnets.
