The registration of motorcycles in Bolívar, during the month of June 2018, reveals a growth of 10% compared to the same month of 2017.
The motorcycle registration report prepared by Fenalco and ANDI, indicates that in the sixth month of the year in the department, 1,123 motorcycles were registered, against 1,021 in the same month of 2017. In June, Bolívar realized a share of 2,7% of the total number of motorcycles registered in the country.
In June, 41,418 units were registered throughout the country and in the first half of the year, 257,406 units were accumulated. This represents a growth of 7.58% compared to the first half of 2017, with a real increase of 181,141 units.
By departments, Antioquia and Cundinamarca appear with the highest number of new motorcycles registered, with a contribution of 18, 4% and 15.9%, respectively. In third place is the department of Valle del Cauca with 14.2% of market share, followed by Santander with 5.5% of the shares, in fifth place is Cordoba with 4.6%.
According to the displacement, out of the total number of motorcycles registered up to June 2018, 34.46% are from 111 to 135 cc; 31.50% range from 0 to 110 cc; 13.47% are greater than 180 cc; 11.09% are 136 to 150 cc; and 9.48%, from 151 to 180 cc. By the municipalities
Soacha (Cundinamarca) and Sabaneta (Antioquia) are the municipalities with the most high number of new motorcycles registered, with a contribution of 8.4% and 4.6% respectively in the market. In third place, the municipality of Florida (Valle del Cauca) with a share of 4.6% in the market, followed by the municipality of Envigado (Antioquia) with a participation of 3.8%, in fifth place, finds the municipality of Girón (Santander) with 3.7%.
