Spain: the port of Cartagena will serve 84,000 passengers during the European summer

The port of Cartagena expects that, during the summer season, 84 cruise ship pbadengers will arrive at his facilities. Of this total, 23,000 have already done in 13 ships that visited the complex in June

This Spanish port will continue to receive visitors in July. More specifically, there will be 13,000 pbadengers who will land in the city aboard 11 ships. The arrival of tourists will continue in August. This month, the site will bring more than 24,000 pbadengers to which we must add the 23,500 in September

In total, between June and September, more than 84,000 tourists will arrive in Cartagena aboard 50 ships.

with more presence this summer are Royal Cruises Cruises which will bring 11 cruises, followed by Marella Cruises with 10 ships and P & O Cruises with 7 ships.

With regard to stopovers by ships, this summer the cruiser Marella Spirit is at the top of the rankings. Celebrity Reflection, Britannia and Wind Surf.

In the coming months, the port should accommodate five double flights, to which we must add the last two in June, and a tripling that will take place on June 3rd. September.

One of the novelties of this summer will be the visit, for the first time, of Marella Explorer. The ship will stop in the city on July 20.

This first place joins eight others that we have this season and that are an example of the intense work that is being done by the Port Authority of Cartagena to maintain and increase this business sector that contributes, its more benefit to local businesses related to the services and tourism sector.

The local port authority has managed to consolidate itself in the area becoming one of the main destinations in southeastern Spain. Positioned as the eighth port of Spain in terms of cruises, this 2018 is expected the arrival of 230 000 tourists aboard 151 ships.
