The AH1N1 virus is on alert on Ibagué

The Ibagué Ministry of Health confirmed that up to now, in 2018, there have been three cases of AH1N1 virus in the capital of Tolima. One of the carriers of the virus is dead, while another is in intensive care in a hospital.

Gelver Dimas Gómez, Secretary of Health of Ibagué, explained that in the year were reported 20 suspected cases of which only three were confirmed

"There is a first review, in the case of tests that confirm it, there are three cases of AH1N1 in the city of Ibagué.There are two other cases that are a very virus similar, called parainfluenza " said Gomez.

The Municipal Health Secretariat is also advancing awareness campaigns, promoting and preventing the spread of the virus in the city.
