Vaccines available
Among the available vaccines are BCG and HB, which are applied to newborns; VOP and pentavalent vaccine for children less than one year old; triple viral; pneumococcus; yellow fever; hepatitis A; polio and DTC. Similarly, pregnant women will be vaccinated against seasonal influenza and tetanus diphtheria toxoid -Td, if necessary.
"The invitation is to all parents or guardians to meet the appointment, this Saturday, with vaccination.Vaccines are completely free," says Roque Bossio.
This third day of national vaccination will begin on Saturday, July 14 as a central event and will run throughout the month.
