Conor McGregor must have left some bad will on the VMA red carpet.
Just a day after he got into a fight with Machine Gun Kelly at the 2021 VMAs, McGregor was spotted having dinner in Amaranth in New York on Monday with his fiance Dee Devlin and a few friends. The Irish MMA fighter seemed to be more into his longtime love than his meal – or friends – as he couldn’t keep his hands on Devlin.
The couple, who have three children, were pictured kissing and laughing at the dinner table between bites, and McGregor looked much more relaxed than on the red carpet with Kelly, who he had a fight with for unclear reasons.
“They got into a fight, then it calmed down and Conor went looking for him again,” a source told Page Six at the time, adding that the photographers “weren’t happy” and “said that they were going to boycott Conor because they feared MGK and Megan would not work.
“[McGregor] was ready to throw his fists, “a second source said, adding:” Security was struggling to hold him back. “
Despite the well-documented kerfuffle, a representative for McGregor joked, “Conor only fights fighters.”
Following the physical argument between McGregor and Kelly, 33, the professional fighter criticized rocker “Bloody Valentine” in an interview.
“Nothing happened with me, I only fight real fighters, people who really fight, you know what I mean,” McGregor said. “I certainly don’t fight little vanilla rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him except that he’s with Megan Fox.
Kelly, 31, didn’t bother to elaborate on close punches, choosing instead to slap a reporter’s microphone when asked about it.
