17:16 PT – Conor's lawyers have just issued a statement on the arrest.
"Last night, Conor McGregor was involved in a small telephone altercation that prompted police, and McGregor appreciates the police response and promises his full cooperation."
Conor McGregor was again arrested … for allegedly breaking the phone of a fan in front of the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach.
According to the police report, obtained by TMZ SportsOn Monday, around 5 am, the owner of the phone was leaving the hotel at the same time as Conor. While the fan was trying to take a picture, Conor slapped the victim's phone and knocked him to the ground. McGregor allegedly trampled the phone several times, the front damaged.
According to the cops, McGregor then took the phone and won.
It seems that the incident was captured on a surveillance video.
He was convicted of robbery / strikes and criminal wrongdoing of more than $ 1,000. He is currently held on bail of $ 12,500.
It is unclear why Conor was in front of the hotel at 5:00, but it seems that he and the fan were leaving the LIV disco, located inside the hotel. LIV closes at 5:00.
It seems that Conor has gone home to Miami. The alleged victim subsequently filed a police report. Police officers went to Conor 's home and stopped him shortly before 6:00 pm Eastern time.
he is summer in South Florida in the last few days with his girlfriend, Dee Devlinand their son, Conor Jr., with other members of the family. Conor and his family were in Miami to celebrate his mother's birthday. He had rented the Versace mansion for the eruption.
Whatever happens in this case, Conor clearly dodged a bullet in just a few days. TMZ Sports has told all – Conor only completed his probation in the cart attack case. He completed 5 days of community service in Brooklyn churches and also took an anger management course. If he had violated probation, it would almost certainly mean considerable time behind bars and possible deportation.
