BATTLE ISLAND – Conor McGregor was slapped with a six-month medical suspension for fighting after being brutally knocked out on Saturday.
McGregor was defeated at UFC 257, which took place at the Etihad Arena on Fight Island, Abu Dhabi, knocked out by US contestant Dustin Poirier.

Poirier was sentenced to seven days of mandatory rest, for example, while McGregor was told he couldn’t compete for 180 days unless he got a doctor’s clearance on his right tibia and fibula. , while waiting for an x-ray.

Other UFC 257 medical suspensions include seven mandatory days off for UFC rookie Michael Chandler, who obliterated Dan Hooker in the first round with strikes.
