The Tennessee nurse who passed out on camera after receiving her COVID-19 vaccine in December is not dead – but try to tell legions of skeptics on social media.

Condolences have poured in from around the world to mourn the passing of 30-year-old mother of two Tiffany Dover – although she is alive and well, a fact her family and the Chattanooga hospital have publicly repeated, but not with much luck. . .

The culprit behind the persistent disinformation campaign appears to be anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists in general.

“I’m honestly disgusted with people right now,” Dover’s sister-in-law recently wrote on Instagram, according to the Daily Beast. “TIFFANY IS ALIVE AND WELL. ”

But that hasn’t stopped some non-believers from thinking that photos showing Dover’s hair in different places could somehow prove that she is dead.

One doubter even started a Facebook page called “Where’s Tiffany Dover?” It currently has 5,400 members.

“This group is just trying to get confirmation that Tiffany Dover is safe. All we’re asking for is concrete proof that she’s alive and well, ”says the page.

Dover passed out on camera in mid-December after receiving a Pfizer bullet in his arm as part of a pro-COVID-19 vaccination effort from CHI Memorial Hospital.

The nurse later told local television that it was not uncommon for her to pass out when she was in pain.

But still, the rumors that she died turned to the point that her hospital was forced to publicly try to put them to bed – twice.

He tweeted on Dec. 18 that she was “ home and well, ” the Daily Beast reported, and then three days later, published video nurse at hospital with other staff holding signs with today’s date.

A representative from the Chattanooga Police Department told the Daily Beast that its own social media sites had been dotted with requests asking if the agency was investigating whether Dover was dead.

“The police department is not involved in any of this at all because there is no crime, no death, no nothing,” the spokesperson said.
