The prevalence of infections: On Monday, the state reported 202 new positive tests out of 6,933 tests performed, a positivity rate of 2.9%.
Who was infected: New confirmed or suspected infections increased among the following age groups between Friday and Monday: 0-9 (30); 10-19 (112); 20-29 (123); 30-39 (125); 40-49 (129); 50-59 (95); 60-69 (68); 70-79 (49); 80 years and over (19).
Who is in the hospital: The state reported 118 people had been hospitalized with a confirmed case of COVID-19, 18 more than Sunday’s figure. There were 23 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit (ICU) beds, two more than in similar care on Sunday.
Vaccines administered: Oregon administered 1,346,090 first and second doses on Monday. The state has reported 24,077 new doses. Of these vaccines, 13,529 doses were administered on Sunday and 10,548 were administered the previous days, but entered the system on Sunday.
