Coroner identifies 4 dead, including 2 children in apparent murder-suicide in Joliet | Local news

UPDATE:

The four people found dead in what appears to be a murder-suicide on Wednesday night in Joliet have now been identified.

The Will County Coroner's Office identified the late Brandyn Lee, 34, Jacquelon Gaskin, 28, Gianna Lee, 6, and Giovanni Lee, 1 year old.

Joliet police officers said officers were called to the 500 Blk from Whitley Avenue around 10:19 pm where the four individuals were found.

The Chicago Tribune reports that a member of Gaskin's family said that she and Lee had had a long-term relationship. The family member says that she believes Gaskin was trying to leave Lee.

Police said the four men were found on the second floor of the residence.

Autopsies are scheduled for the four people on Friday.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
