Costco is resetting purchase limits on selected items amid surge in COVID-19 cases.

In its COVID updates section on its website, which was updated last Saturday, Costco said “some warehouses may have temporary item limits on certain items.”

Although the company has not specified which products would be limited, if you order paper towels on their website, under their product details it says “limit 1 per member”.

Costco has a “limit of 2 per member” under its product details when purchasing toilet paper on its website.

The temporary product restriction comes as cases of the delta variant continue to rise in the United States, which has reportedly caused Americans to panic again to buy toilet paper as they did at the start of the pandemic, according to USA Today and The Wall Street Journal.
