Costco shootings: a man killed by an officer on duty was non-verbal, had an intellectual disability

According to the Corona police, an officer from the Los Angeles Police Department who was on leave was working in Costco with his family when he was assaulted while he was holding his young child. Police said the assault was not provoked and led the officer to use his weapon, hitting French and two members of his family.
