HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A Huntsville couple who reportedly resell antiques and other interesting items on eBay have both died of COVID-19, according to the couple’s GoFundMe account.

Dusty and Tristan Graham called themselves the Alabama Pickers and had posted videos to their now-deleted COVID vaccine YouTube account, saying they weren’t going to get one. In a now-deleted 90+ minute video that Digital Team 48 walked through, it shows the couple making jokes about COVID, calling it once ‘the flu’ and coughing once and saying, ‘sorry, COVID. “

The two said they had survived worse and didn’t think the coronavirus was anything to be afraid of. Tristan got bone cancer at the age of 15 and underwent nine months of chemotherapy. She said she would not take the vaccine due to a previous negative experience with the chemotherapy drug Adriamycin and that she was afraid of how she would react to the vaccine. Dusty did not explain why he refused the vaccine.

Dusty had created the GoFundMe page on August 27 while in intensive care battling complications from COVID. He did so to help his family with funeral expenses after Tristan died in his sleep from complications from COVID. On September 16, an update was released from their daughter that Dusty had also died from the virus. So far, the page has raised over $ 24,000.

The couple leave behind two children, Gabe and Windsor.
