Humboldt County Joint Information Center press release:
Thirty new cases of COVID-19 were reported today, the highest total in a day since the start of the pandemic. Humboldt County has seen a total of 949 county residents testing positive for the virus.
A previously reported hospitalization was found to be unrelated to COVID-19 despite their testing positive on admission. Public health is reporting additional hospitalization today, so the cumulative total of county residents hospitalized for COVID-19 remains at 48.
