Humboldt County Joint Information Center press release:

A total of 2,976 residents of Humboldt County have tested positive for COVID-19, after 16 more cases were reported today.

As of Monday, February 8, Humboldt County was assigned 20,960 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, including Pfizer and Moderna. Because a sixth dose can often be taken from each vial of Pfizer vaccine, public health and other approved local vaccinators have maximized the state’s allocation and administered a total of 21,230 doses.

Local health care providers who are licensed to administer the vaccine contact their eligible patients directly to schedule immunization appointments.

Public Health is using the information submitted through the online vaccine interest form to fill the slots at its mass immunization clinics. County residents are encouraged to complete the form at humboldtgov.org/InterestForm to be notified when an appointment is available for their level.
