STRAIT – A large crowd stood outside the State Capitol Building in Lansing on Saturday.

It was another weekend when supporters of President Donald Trump protested against the election results.

“We are here today because we want a fair election,” Trump supporter Larry Parsons said.

Parsons was one of many in the crowd who claimed there had been some sort of voter fraud in this presidential election, although there was no evidence of cheating.

“I personally hope to focus on this election and make sure that kind of chaos doesn’t happen again,” Parsons said. “We don’t think the election is fair.”

Although a slightly smaller crowd in downtown Detroit, Biden supporters had a different message.

“’Trump / Pence Out Now’. This is our slogan, ”said Cindy Luiz, Biden supporter.

Luiz, with the “ Trump / Pence Out Now ” group, said Trump saying voter fraud was causing more harm than good.

“This is an attempt to get people behind the idea that they are wronged, that they are the victims,” said Luiz.

Recently, several electoral fraud lawsuits on behalf of Donald Trump were dismissed in several states, including Michigan. Judges say there was no evidence to prove the cheating occurred in this year’s election. Biden supporters said it was time to move on.

“The only thing we can’t do is we can’t give them the last word,” Luiz said. “The point is, we won the election. You didn’t.
