Dallas Cowboys: Ezekiel Elliott's lawyers file suit against Cowboys RB regarding Las Vegas incident as "extortion"

The story of Ezekiel Elliott's incident in Las Vegas earlier this off season continues.

According to Enzo Marino of Fox 5 Las Vegas (KVVU-TV), EDC security officer, Kyle Johnson, has filed suit against the Metro Police Department of Las Vegas against Cowboys' strong comeback to following the alleged assault of May 19, during which Elliott had seemed to bump Johnson back into a metal fence.

Elliott was handcuffed and briefly detained by police around 3:00 am on May 19th at the Electric Daisy Carnival. He was with the woman when he asked a member of the security staff, "Do you have something to say?" Elliott was found face to face with the man, later identified as Johnson, 19, and seemed to tip him into a metal portal.

Elliott was released after Johnson refused to file a complaint.

After what Johnson described as an "unapologetic" attempt to apologize sincerely, he changed course and decided to lay charges on Friday.

Elliott apologized on June 2 for his role in the morning altercation, pledging to work harder to avoid compromising situations.

"I have worked hard to make better decisions and to meet the high standards that are expected of me.I did not do it here and I made a bad decision" Elliott said in a statement. posted on his Twitter account.
