Gorillaz teams up with Bad Bunny on the next song.

Damon Albarn has revealed that he and a 27-year-old Puerto Rican rapper recorded a reggaeton track together in Jamaica. This will serve as the first single for his virtual group’s next project with comedic artist Jamie Hewlett.

The Blur frontman told The Wrap: [in] Does anyone know who i want

“I was in Jamaica recently and recorded a Gorillaz song with Bad Bunny. It’s exciting for next year.

He continued. “Bad Bunny is the first single. This is the first song I made for this new project.

“I don’t know when or how it will go on sale, but it’s done… yes, it’s more or less a reggaeton song. Bad Bunny meets Gorillaz.

Gorillaz’s last studio album was “Song Machine, Season 1 Strange Times” of 2020, starring Sir Elton John, St. Vincent and Beck.

And Damon had previously made fun of some sort of collaboration with Sir Paul McCartney.

A 53-year-old musician revealed last year that he recorded music with a legendary Beatles star. He wants to use it in Gorillaz’s next album.

“I have Paul and my own recordings that can be used on Gorillaz tracks. It fits easily on Gorillaz albums. It’s a very simple and basic recording, but released without talking to him first. Never done. “

Damon went on to say that the recording was not a complete track, but praised Paul, 79, as “one of the most special pop musicians.”

He said: “[I don’t want to say I have] I’m not on the track with Paul, but I definitely got to work with him. He is one of the most special pop musicians of all time. “

Gorillaz, meanwhile, is aiming for a track with another music icon after Jamie recently poked fun at Damon writing a song for Dolly Parton.

He said: “I suggested working with Dolly Parton, imagining Damon would throw him in my face, and he turned around, ‘Are you serious? Cart? I think Damon has written a song already! I had this conversation three weeks ago when he was in Paris, and I spoke to him the other day, and he said, “I wrote it down.”
