Seven of the eleven patients whose cancer has been forgotten or misinterpreted at Kerry University Hospital are now dead.

It's three more than previously reported.

The cases arose after examining the work of a substitute radiologist at the hospital.

Patients had a late diagnosis, which had a serious impact on their health.

The examination was performed after the return to the hospital of several reluctant patients with symptoms in the summer of 2017.
