Welcome to United Cities of America
The latest Death Stranding trailer is finally available, and we not only have a better idea of how the game is used, but we also know when we can play it: its release date has been confirmed for November 8 as an exclusive PS4. Hideo Kojima's open-world action game will focus on exploring the ruins of North America in a dark and fragmented future, where cities have replaced states. There are even clues that other worlds and the moon itself could potentially be explorable spaces in Death Stranding.
Death Stranding is one of the most enigmatic games of recent years. Even by Hideo Kojima's standards, incredibly devious, it was difficult to reconstruct everything that was presented in the previous trailers. However, the new sequence, released as the culmination of a Twitch program before E3 2019, which Sony will not participate in, includes much more dialogue and gameplay than ever before. With the trailer running close to nine minutes, there was a lot to glean from in the latest images, and we now have a better idea of what is the world of Death Stranding and its major players. Here is a quick summary of all the most interesting details of this trailer and what it could mean for the final match.
