DETROIT – The American airline Delta issued a statement Saturday at Local 4 regarding a possible case of measles at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

Officials at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport said that a child suspected of being infected with measles had been found Saturday on a flight from Las Vegas.

According to the authorities, the child is tested to confirm whether or not it is a confirmed case.

An airport representative said that the remaining passengers were allowed to get off the plane and that only the child is being screened for measles.
