Demon’s Souls invader destroyed by worst attack in game

It's not easy, but it certainly makes a statement.

Although a neat concept, being overrun by other players in the Souls of the demon the remake can be very frustrating. Sometimes it seems impossible to land a single hit due to the typical online latency. But a notable Souls The player recently managed to ban an invader from their world with the worst and heaviest attack in the game.

Twitch streamer Lobosjr was in the middle of an arc only Souls of the demon run on PlayStation 5 when it was invaded by another player looking to spoil their fun. Their battle, like most in the game’s online environment, was awkward and lasted beyond the point of being entertaining, but it gave Lobos several chances to end the fight with the awkward melee strike and very, very low arc. After several minutes, one of his attempts was finally successful, and he jokingly thanked “the paid actor” before continuing on his way.

The awkwardness of the online game belies the difficulty inherent in this feat. Every weapon in Souls of the demon has what is called a “push” or “bash” attack. These attacks, performed by tilting the left joystick in the direction the character is facing and squeezing the right trigger at the same time, are usually reserved for breaking an enemy’s guard and generally not being of much use outside. player versus player matches.

With arcs, however, push attacks come with an added layer of complexity. Instead of performing the typical movement, the player should tilt the control stick into the opposite direction they are facing, after which their character will swing the arc behind them. I have no idea what the purpose of this strange attack was, and I even had to go back to the original PlayStation 3 game to check if it was new in the remake or not (it isn’t).

Bows themselves could be an incredibly viable way to beat Souls of the demon, but I don’t recommend relying on this weird melee attack during your game. Unless, of course, you’re looking to style out an invader like Lobos.
