Raiders defensive lineman Carl Nassib announced in June that he was gay. This makes him the only openly gay player in the NFL.
Nassib received support from other NFL members immediately after his video, but everyone was watching to see the welcome he would receive to the team once training camp began.
Everything has been positive so far, according to Raiders quarterback Derek Carr.
“Yes, like I said, whether you agree or disagree with someone, as we talk about all the time in this country, if you disagree with someone, you automatically hate it.
