Destiny 2 seasons explained, including a new system resembling a combat pass

In a new blog post from Destiny's franchise director, Luke Smith, Bungie revealed how the seasons would work Destiny 2Third year; comprising Shadow guard and New light this autumn.

At the end of each season, seasonal changes and bonus power will be reset. Players will win a new artifact for the next season and restart the process.
